GIFT DAY – Many thanks to everyone who supported our Gift Day. This year we have raised over £11,200 – thank you again for your generosity.

CONCERT – This is on Thursday 5^th August at St Basil’s Church at 7.30pm by the Elk Point Community Choir from Alberta in Canada. Their programme is light and varied. Admission is free and there will be a retiring collection for church funds.

ST BASIL’S PRIZE DRAW AND QUIZ  - This is on Friday 12^th November at 7.00pm in St Basil’s Hall. Please note this date in your diary. Draw tickets will be available in early autumn.

RETIREMENT – Earlier this year Brian Hicks announced his intention to retire as organist at St Basil’s at the end of September. Owing to the difficulties of finding a replacement Brian has agreed to defer his retirement for up to a year to give us more time to find a worthy successor.

GREETINGS CARDS - A variety of handmade greetings cards are on sale in St Basil’s. All proceeds go to church funds. Why not have a browse? Personalised cards for special occasions can also be made to order. Speak to Anne Davies or Jenny Turner for more details.
