NEWCURATE– Revd Heidi-Maria de Gruchy-Lambert has been appointed as curate to the Parish of Bassaleg. She has been ordained for 18 months and will continue her training in Bassaleg. Her first Sunday in the parish will be 26^thFebruary and we very much look forward to her joining the team.

AN APPEAL – Archbishop of Wales Fund for Children- Our next fund-raising event is a “Chinese Auction”, at St. Mary’s Church Hall, Risca on Thursday 16^thFebruary. For this the Committee has to provide a large number of prizes, and we should be grateful for help. Good quality items – new or nearly-new, in original wrapping if possible would be much appreciated. Perhaps you have received Christmas gifts surplus to requirements?
